EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE

TO OPEN UP TO YOURSELF AND OTHERS DIFFERENTLY

Hidden emotions or considered as negative are often the reason behind damaged relationships and indeed performance. Such effects are often found in delegating problems, difficulties with transversal collaboration, when avoiding building efficient operational networks.

Biases generated by repressed feelings have a deep impact on numerous determining processes such as decision making, information flow, efficient consideration of difficulties, confrontational disagreements and the ability to receive feedback.
In a professional context, the expression of feelings and emotions is often badly looked upon. Each culture creates its own rules and bans, but none of them prevent the natural presence of emotions and feelings to keep quiet.

To put in motion and become aware of your own emotions opens up new interpersonal perspectives and gives a better understanding of others. Self-confidence is a pre-requirement of the trust we have in others and it in turn inspires others to trust us. The existence of this link strengthens the self-confidence and as a result creates a link to a virtuous circle required to strengthen self-confidence.

The open declaration of the feeling changes the relational deal because that way we become more ‘real’ and truer to others who then pay more attention to who we 'really are’. By choosing to show yourself more, you enable your contacts to be truer in their communication and to take more risks: "I am worried I might have made a mistake", "I feel exhausted", "I need to redefine my priorities", " I can’t stand… etc" and therefore be able to act on what is active in a given context.

Throughout our interventions, each time it is possible and relevant, we encourage you to progressively and openly express the feelings in mind.
